Power for AI: Driving Transition 2.0
Dear Friends,
As 2025 comes to a close, here are a few highlights from the back half of the year:
“Energy Transition 2.0? AI and New Opportunities”
That was the theme of our Fall Network Event in London, which gathered some of the sharpest minds in the energy transition to discuss the impacts of AI and the surge in data-center power demand — from clean/firm power generation to carbon capture and storage to new AI use cases driving operational gains. Some of our notable guests included:
Page Crahan, General Manager of Tapestry at X
Chase Dwyer, Co-founder and CEO of Carbon Ridge
Talal Hasan, Founder and CEO of 44.01
Paul Stein, Co-founder and CEO of Floral Energy
Mousa Yassin, Founder and CEO of Pixaera
Kim Zou, CEO of Sightline Climate

Climate Jam at Climate Week NYC!
Broadscale hosted the first-ever Climate Jam benefit concert during Climate Week NYC. Andrew Shapiro’s band, Twilight Muse, played with blues legends G. Love and Robert Randolph to a crowd of over 350 supporters. Check out their take on “Take Me to the River” HERE.

Thanks to our sponsors Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Prelude Ventures, Galvanize, SVB, BXP, and Brooklyn Bowl for helping us raise funds for the nonprofit Protect Our Winters.
Changes to US Clean Energy Policy in 2025
Broadscale hosted a dialogue with three energy policy experts — Julia Attwood (Sightline Climate), Heather Reams (Citizens for Responsible Energy Solutions), and JC Sandberg (American Clean Power Association) — to discuss changes to the clean energy tax credits and other impacts of the Administration’s energy policy.
